When you import a WhatsApp chat into Bonobo, we collect and store the following:

• Participant names (as they appear in the chat)

• Purchase history (for subscription and payment management)

• Google Gemini AI: AI analysis engine (processes chat content to generate insights)
• Stripe: Payment processing (handles subscriptions and purchases)
• PostHog: Analytics (anonymized usage data only)

These services are bound by their own privacy policies and security standards. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

Your Rights and Control

You have complete control over your data:

• Delete Chats: You can delete individual chats or all your chats at any time from within the app
• Delete Account: You can request full account deletion by using our contact form
• Export Data: Request a copy of your data by contacting us
• Opt-Out: You can opt out of analytics tracking in app settings

Data Retention

We retain your chat data and insights as long as your account is active. When you delete a chat or your account, we permanently remove that data from our systems within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

Bonobo is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes through the app or via email notification.
