Description of Service

Bonobo is an AI-powered mobile application that analyzes imported WhatsApp chat conversations to provide relationship insights, compatibility assessments, and dating advice. Our service uses artificial intelligence to identify communication patterns and generate personalized recommendations.

User Responsibilities

When using Bonobo, you agree to:

  • Legal Use: Only import chat conversations where you have the legal right to do so
  • Consent: Ensure you have appropriate consent from other participants before analyzing shared conversations
  • Age Requirement: Be at least 18 years of age
  • Accuracy: Understand that AI-generated insights are for informational purposes and should not replace professional advice
  • Account Security: Maintain the security of your account credentials

Acceptable Use

You may not:

  • Use the service for any illegal purposes
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the app
  • Share your account with others
  • Upload conversations you don't have permission to share
  • Use the service to harass, stalk, or harm others

Subscriptions and Payments

Free Tier

Bonobo offers a free tier with basic features including unlimited chat imports and basic insights.

Paid Features

Additional AI-powered insights can be unlocked through:

  • One-Time Purchase: Unlock insights for a specific chat (non-refundable after insights are generated)
  • Subscriptions: Weekly or monthly subscriptions for unlimited insights

Billing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel anytime from your device's subscription settings.

Refunds

Due to the nature of AI-generated insights (which are created immediately upon purchase), one-time purchases are generally non-refundable. Subscription refunds follow Apple App Store and Google Play Store policies.

Intellectual Property

The Bonobo app, including all AI models, algorithms, designs, and content, is owned by Bonobo and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Your imported chats remain your property.

Disclaimer of Warranties

AI Limitations: Bonobo's insights are generated by artificial intelligence and are for informational and entertainment purposes only. They should not be considered professional relationship counseling, therapy, or medical advice.

No Guarantees: We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any insights. Results may vary, and insights should be considered one perspective among many.

Professional Advice: If you're experiencing serious relationship issues, mental health concerns, or emotional distress, please seek help from a qualified professional.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bonobo and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including decisions made based on AI-generated insights.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or deleting your account from within the app.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
